FAQs
What kinds of dogs do you work with?
I work with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Whether you’re bringing home a new puppy, living with a high-energy adolescent, or navigating reactivity and anxiety, my goal is to meet you and your dog where you are and build a clear plan forward.
What’s the difference between private lessons and board & train?
Private lessons give you hands-on coaching in real time—you’ll learn how to work with your dog directly, and I’ll guide you through the process step by step. Board & Train, on the other hand, is a more immersive reset where your dog stays with me for 2–3 weeks and gets consistent, daily training. Both options include follow-up support so you feel confident continuing progress at home.
Do you offer boarding for non-clients?
No—boarding is offered only to clients who have already completed training with me. This ensures that every dog in my care has the foundation, structure, and expectations they need to succeed.
What kinds of issues can you help with?
Common challenges I work through include leash pulling, jumping, barking, reactivity, anxiety, and difficulty settling at home. Often what looks like a “problem behavior” is actually a symptom of something bigger—together we’ll address the root cause and create more clarity and calm for your dog.
What makes Mystic Dog Training different?
I create a safe, judgment-free space for both dogs and their people. Training isn’t about perfection—it’s about growth. My approach blends structure with empathy, firmness with softness, and always adapts to the individual dog. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and connected with your dog in a way that feels natural and sustainable.
